Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group (“the Group”) is committed to contributing to the realization of an emotionally rich society by continuously pursuing positive change and providing peace of mind, comfort, and inspiration. The Group may make use of personal information identifying customers in order to provide more satisfying products and services.

In accordance with its recognition that personal information has important ramifications for privacy and must be handled with care, the Group believes that the confidentiality and integrity of personal information must be secured by appropriate means and that such information must be handled in accordance with the wishes of the individuals it describes.

    These Policy Guidelines apply to all personal information handled by the Group.
  2. Legal compliance
    The Group handles personal information in accordance with all relevant laws, governmental ordinances, and guidelines.
  3. Internal structures
    The Group has put in place internal structures to facilitate the management of personal information, including by forming a department to oversee the protection of personal information and by assigning employees responsibility for managing personal information in each of its hotels and departments.
  4. Use of personal information
    Whenever using personal information, the Group articulates an explicit purpose and restricts the use of information to the scope necessary to achieve that purpose.
  5. Acquisition of personal information
    The Group acquires personal information using lawful and appropriate means.
  6. Accuracy
    The Group takes such measures as are appropriate to ensure that the personal information in its possession is accurate and up-to-date.
  7. Security
    The Group takes such measures as necessary and appropriate to ensure the integrity of the personal information in its possession so as to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, improper disclosure, or other misuse.
  8. Supervision of subcontractors
    When outsourcing the handling of personal information, the Group implements such supervision as necessary and appropriate to ensure contractors manage personal information in a manner that maintains its integrity. 
  9. Disclosure and modification of personal information
    The Group accommodates requests by individuals to access or modify their personal information in an appropriate manner and in accordance with predetermined procedures.
  10. Inquiries concerning personal information
    Inquiries concerning personal information are accepted and processed by the department or entity responsible for handling that information.
  11. Ongoing improvements
    The Group conducts periodic audits and endeavors to review and improve its internal guidelines and structures on an ongoing basis to ensure that the confidentiality and integrity of personal information is maintained in an appropriate manner.
