Article 1 Membership Requirements

  1. A Member is an individual who has agreed to the Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group Members Club Terms of Membership (hereinafter “Terms of Membership”), applied for membership to Hankyu Hanshin Hotels Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Company”), been accepted by the Company to be a member thereof, and been lent a Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group Members Club Card (hereinafter “Hotel Card”). Membership is open to persons who are 18 years of age or older. The applicant's date of birth or other information may be confirmed at the time of admission.

Article 2 Use of the Hotel Card

  1. Members may receive services by presenting the Hotel Card at Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group hotels (hereinafter “Eligible Hotels”).

  2. The Hotel Card may be used only by the Member himself/herself who signed the back of the card. The Hotel Card may not be transferred or lent to any other person.

  3. Special privileges and points may not be used jointly with those of other cards.

Article 3 How to Join (Registration and Change of Member Information)

  1. A person who wishes to obtain membership is required to register his/her member information (hereinafter “Member Information Registration”) by one of the following methods.

    (1) Visit the Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group website, which is the website designated by the Company (hereinafter “Group Website”), via the Internet from a PC, mobile phone, smartphone, or other device and register online.

    (2) Download the “Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group Members Club App” (hereinafter “App”) on a smartphone and register from the App.

    (3) Send a membership application form designated by the Company by postal mail.

    (4) Other admission methods as designated by the Company

  2. Admission methods (1) and (2) require registration for the use of a “HH cross ID” or any other account common to the Hankyu Hanshin Group (hereinafter “Common ID”), which enables Members to receive services provided by the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group and its business partners.

  3. Hotel Cards will be lent to applicants who have completed the Member Information Registration.

  4. The Member Information Registration must be completed in order to use the accumulated points. Points can be used after the Member Information Registration is completed. However, please note that it may take up to two weeks for the registration to be completed if the registration is made by means other than the Group Website or the App.

  5. If there are any changes to the member information, please promptly register the changes by means instructed by the Company.

Article 4 Admission Fee and Annual Membership Fee

  1. No admission fee or annual membership fee will be required.

Article 5 Membership Privileges

  1. Members may use the membership privileges as specified by the Company or the Eligible Hotels. Membership privileges are available for up to 10 persons per Member, including the Member himself/herself. There are some plans available for 10 or more persons.

Article 6 Reward Points

  1. 3% of the total amount spent (including tax) will be granted only when the Hotel Card is presented prior to payment at the Eligible Hotels. An amount of payment spent for an accommodation or at a restaurant by up to 10 persons per Member, including the Member himself/herself, shall be eligible.

  2. The following products, services, etc. handled by the Eligible Hotels (hereinafter “Products, etc.”) shall not be eligible for the reward points:

    (1) Use of hotel facilities other than accommodation and hotel-operated restaurants;

    (2) Bookings made through a travel agency or website of other companies;

    (3) Use for meetings, banquets, weddings, and various events (dinner shows, etc.) or at beer gardens or other banquet halls and some outdoor/temporary/seasonal facilities;

    (4) Purchase of some takeaway Products, etc. designated by the Eligible Hotels;

    (5) Using cash vouchers issued by other companies (gift certificates issued by a travel agency, etc.);

    (6) Purchase of gift certificates issued by a hotel;

    (7) Using points for payment or exchanging points for a prize (selection course tickets, etc.); and

    (8) Payment for cancellation fees.

  3. Points shall be granted for payments made by the payment methods accepted by the Eligible Hotels such as cash, credit cards, gift certificates issued by credit card companies, gift certificates issued by hotels, and electronic money. Points will not be granted for payments made by any other methods.

  4. The Eligible Hotels may grant bonus points in addition to the regular points depending on the campaign offered by the Company or the Eligible Hotels.

  5. Points granted may not be transferred to a third party or combined with another point card. However, this shall not apply if the Company deems it necessary.

  6. In addition to the Eligible Hotels, points may be granted at facilities and stores specifically designated by the Company. In that case, the point granting conditions, etc. will be announced on a case-by-case basis.

Article 7 Use of Points and Exchange for Prizes

  1. After the Member Information Registration set forth in paragraph 1 of Article 3 is completed, points may be used for payment at the Eligible Hotels at the rate of one yen per point, in units of one point. Members who wish to use points must present the Hotel Card prior to payment. If the Hotel Card is not presented prior to payment, points may not be used. Points cannot be exchanged for cash.

  2. Points may be exchanged for prizes and services by making a request for point prize exchange in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the Company. No cancellation or return shall be accepted once the exchange for prizes or services has been made.

  3. In addition to the Eligible Hotels, points may be used at facilities and stores specifically designated by the Company. In that case, the terms of use will be announced on a case-by-case basis.

Article 8 Accumulation Period and Validity Period of Points

  1. The accumulation period of points shall be one year from January 1 to December 31 of each year, and the validity period of points granted during the accumulation period shall be until March 31 of the year two years after the date of the end of such accumulation period. Points will be invalidated after the validity period.

Article 9 Logging in to the Group Website/App and Inquiries for Point Balance

  1. To log in to the Group Website/App, it is required to register with a Common ID of the Hankyu Hanshin Group (hereinafter “Common ID”), such as “HH cross ID”. After the Member Information Registration set forth in paragraph 1 of Article 3 is completed, Members will be able to check their point balances, make changes to their member information, and check contents of their special privileges on the Group Website/App by logging in using the Common ID and the password they have set. In addition to the Group Website/App, point balances can also be checked on point statements issued when the Hotel Card is used.

Article 10 Withdrawal from Membership and Loss of Member Status

  1. Members may withdraw from their Hotel Card membership at any time by following the prescribed procedures. Upon withdrawal from the membership, all accumulated points and other rights associated with the point card shall be invalidated.

  2. A Member falling under any of the following items shall be disqualified from membership:

    (1) If the Company deems that the use of the Hotel Card is inappropriate, such as fraudulent acts related to the acquisition or use of points;

    (2) If the Member has made a false declaration at the time of admission or change of information;

    (3) If there is any inappropriate behavior as a Member, such as causing inconvenience to other customers;

    (4) If the Member violates the Terms of Use or Accommodation Agreement of any of the Eligible Hotels;

    (5) If there is any failure to perform obligations to any of the Eligible Hotels, such as payment of accommodation fees, etc.;

    (6) If the Company deems that it is difficult or impossible to continue the Member's membership due to natural disasters, accidents, death, or other reasons;

    (7) If the Member has not used the Hotel Card (either by earning or using points) for three years or longer, and the Company deems it appropriate to disqualify the Member from membership;

    (8) If the Member is found to be an organized crime group, a corporate extortionist, any other anti-social forces (a group or individual that uses violence, force, or fraudulent means to pursue economic benefits) or a person equivalent thereto; or

    (9) If the Member commits any act of violent or intimidating demand or any unjustifiable demand beyond legal responsibility.

Article 11 Loss, Theft, Damage, etc. of the Hotel Card

  1. If the Hotel Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, contact the Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group Members Club Administration Office (hereinafter “Administration Office”).

  2. If the Member wishes to have the Hotel Card reissued, please apply to the Administration Office. The Company will verify the Member's registered personal information and issue a new Hotel Card. The point balance confirmed by the Company as of the date of application will be transferred to the new Hotel Card. The new Hotel Card will not be reissued if the identity of the Member cannot be confirmed or if there is any doubtful point regarding the grounds for reissuance.

Article 12 Handling of Personal Information

  1. Acquisition of Personal Information

    In order to provide Members with various services, the following personal information will be acquired:

    (1) Address, name, sex, telephone number, date of birth, place of work, title and department, email address; and

    (2) Usage information (date and time, store, price, etc.).
            If the Member has registered with a Common ID, the registered information regarding address, name, sex, date of birth, and email address will be shared in accordance with the following Privacy Policy regarding the Common ID. https://www.hhcross.hankyu-hanshin.jp/consent/privacypolicy.html

  2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

    The personal information acquired shall be used only for the following cases and shall not be used for any other purposes:

    (1) When using in connection with applications and bookings regarding accommodation, restaurant, wedding, banquet, and other services provided by the Eligible Hotel;

    (2) When delivering information regarding products and services provided at facilities and stores designated by the Eligible Hotels and the Company where points may be granted or used (hereinafter “Eligible Stores”) that may be beneficial to customers;

    (3) When using for analysis and questionnaires for the provision and improvement of services and products of the Eligible Hotels and the Eligible Stores;

    (4) When conducting research on purchasing trends of Members, verifying the effectiveness of sales promotion activities, and formulating sales promotion plans, etc.;

    (5) When providing services of the Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group Members Club;

    (6) When it is necessary for the Company to contact the customer to the extent deemed necessary in the course of its business (Limited to important information, Members who have refused to receive information at the time of the Member Information Registration may still be provided with information by telephone, email, sealed letter, or other means); and

    (7) In addition to the preceding items, when the Member's prior consent has been obtained.

  3. Shared Use of Personal Information

    (1) For the purposes of use set forth in the preceding paragraph, personal information provided will be shared with the member companies of the Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group (hereinafter “Hotel Group” *1); the member companies of the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group (*2), which are members of the Company Group; the member companies of the H2O Retailing Group (*3) (hereinafter “Group Companies”); and the Eligible Stores other than the foregoing.

  4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

    Personal information provided shall not be disclosed to third parties except in the following cases:

    (1) If disclosure to the Hotel Group, Group Companies, Eligible Stores, or subcontractors with whom a confidentiality agreement has been concluded is necessary for the purposes set forth in paragraph 2;

    (2) If requested by a judicial or administrative organ involving legal affairs;

    (3) If it is necessary to protect the life, health, property, or other important interests of the Member; and

    (4) In addition to the aforementioned items, if the Member's prior consent is obtained.

  5. Security Management of Personal Information

    Personal information provided will be handled securely and appropriately, with necessary protection measures in place.

  6. Disclosure, Correction, Suspension of Use, Deletion, etc. of Personal Information

    Disclosure of personal information, changes of name, address, or other matters to be notified, or request for suspension of use or deletion shall be promptly submitted to the Administration Office. The changes will be made after the prescribed procedures.

Article 13 Changes to the Terms of Membership and Contents of the Services

  1. The Company may revise or abolish the Terms of Membership and privileges and other contents of the services at its own discretion without the Member's prior consent.

  2. Any changes to the Terms of Membership or point services will be announced to Members in advance on the website or by other methods.

Article 14 Governing Law

  1. All agreements between Members and the Company shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

Special Provisions for S-Point Service Article 1 S-Point Service

Article 1 S-Point Service

The S-Point Service is a service in which points are granted or can be used by presenting a card marked with the S-Point mark (Trademark Registration No. 5748818) (hereinafter “S-Point Card”) issued by companies participating in this service (hereinafter “Participating Companies”) at facilities operated by the Participating Companies (hereinafter “S-Point Service Stores”). Such points are referred to as “S-Points”.

Article 2 Participation in the S-Point Service

The Company's participation in the S-Point Service allows a Hotel Card issued by the Company as a S-Point Card (hereinafter “Company-issued Card”) to be used at S-Point Service Stores operated by the Participating Companies other than the Company as Eligible Stores set forth in Article 1 of the Terms of Membership (hereinafter “Other Service Stores”).

Information on the Other Service Stores is available at the websites of the S-Point Service or the Participating Companies.

Article 3 Granting and Use of Points

Notwithstanding the provisions of the Terms of Membership, the terms and conditions for S-Points to be granted or used by presenting a Company-issued Card at the Other Service Stores shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the Other Service Stores.

Article 4 Service Information

The expiration date of and conditions for granting or using S-Points and any other details about the S-Point Service shall be announced by the methods designated by the Company on a case-by-case basis.

Article 5 Changes to the Special Provisions, Service Contents, Etc.

The Special Provisions and the service contents may be changed in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.

In this case, contents after the change and the application start date shall be made public in advance via a store display, the Internet, or other appropriate methods and shall become applicable from the date on which a reasonable period of time to be specified at the time of the public announcement has elapsed. However, minor changes that conform to the interests of Members may be applied immediately after the public announcement.

Article 6 Application of the Terms of Membership

Any matters not set forth in these Special Provisions shall be governed by the Terms of Membership.
